Lodge Square and Compass No.1336 , Wrexham

 A deputation of 8 brethren headed by RWM Jack Heathcote, visited Lodge Square and Compass No.1336, Wrexham in the Province of North Wales on the occasion of their Annual Installation. The brethren present were- PM John Logan, PM John Kiltie, PM James McKechnie, SM Angus Frame, IG George Crighton, Bros Robert Howatson and James Agnew.  It was a well conducted installation ceremony and was very much enjoyed by the brethren from 125.

The brethren were very warmly welcomed and were very well looked after by the new Worshipful Master, Bro Neville Sharpe and the brethren of No 1336 during their visit.

Lodge St.John New Cumnock 334

 

 

On Thursday the 26th. of November, R.W.Master Br. Chic McEwan led a deputation of twenty Officebearers, Past Masters and Brethren to Lodge St. John New Cumnock no. 334. The Lodge had been invited by R.W.Master Br. William Struthers to confer the M.M.M. Degree on one Brother. St. John 334 meet in what must be the smallest Lodge room in the Province and ,as can be seen from the photographs, it was filled to capacity. It is a number of years since !25 and 334 exchanged visits and an enjoyable evening was spent cementing old friendships and establishing new ones.

 

Prestwick 1060

On Thursday 10th of September, R.W.M.Br. Charles McEwan led a deputation of 15 Past Masters, Officebearers and Brethren of 125 to our good friends lodge Prestwick 1060 where they conferred the M.M.M. degree on one Brother. The deputation was warmly welcomed by R.W.M. Br. Robert McLauchlin and the assembled Brethren. It was a tremendous privilege for Lodge St. James to be invited to confer the degree as this was 1060's first meeting of their second century. The occasion was further marked by the new M.M.M. being the first to take his obl------n on the new V.S.L. which  was presented by 125.
Thereafter the Brethren spent a few hours in harmony

Knightswood 1445

  

On Friday the fifth of June, R.W.Master Br. Chic McEwan led a deputation of twelve

P. Masters, Officebearers and Brethren into lodge Knightswood 1445, Glasgow. The deputation was warmly welcomed by R.W.Master Br. Gilbert Morrison and the assembled Brethren. Lodge St. James proceeded to advance two Brethren to the degree of M.M.M..

This visit marked 50 years of inter visits between the two Lodges. The first having been in 1959. Afterwards the Brethren spent a pleasant time in harmony, making new friendships and catching up on old ones. A memorable evening.

Coila St.Andrew 1334

On Monday 16th of March Lodge St. James 125 visited Lodge Coila St. Andrew 1334.
R.W.Master Chic McEwan lead a deputation of 24 Officebearers, Past Masters and Brethren.
The deputation was warmly welcomed by R.W. Master Jim Smillie and the assembled Brethren.

Lodge St. James conferred the M.M.M. degree on one Brother then spent an hour or two in harmony. An evening enjoyed by all.

Troon Navigation 86

The Lodge visited Troon Navigation No. 86 on Thursday 26th of February.
R.W.Master Chic McEwan headed a deputation of 21 Officebearers, Past Masters & Brethren
where they conferred a Fellowcraft degree. Thereafter, a pleasant time was spent in harmony.

 

                                        

               

On 3rd February,a party of 125 Brethren travelled far to visit Lodge Square and Compass 1336 Wrexham in the Province of North Wales on the occasion of their annual installation. The new  master is Worshipful Master Stephen Overthrow and the IPM is Neville Sharpe.

125 Brethren who visited were PM John Logan, PM John Kiltie, PM Jim McKechnie, WSW Jack Heathcote, WJW Angus Frame,Inner Guard George Crighton and Bro Jim Agnew.

They received a very warm welcome as the long established friendship between both lodges continued.

 

             

 

           

    On 14th January `09 , the Brethren of No.125 were invited to confer a F.C. Degree at No.565 The Bonnie Doon in Patna ,where we received a very warm welcome indeed.

 Thanks go to R.W.M Tom Adams and his assembled Brethren for the hospitality extended to 125, as both Lodges spent an enjoyable time in harmony afterwards.
